The biothane slip leash is a combination of leash and collar in one. It forms a loop that slips over the dogs head and tightens with tension and loosens when tension is released. These tools are very helpful in communicating the heel position and walking nicely on a leash without pulling by administering gentle pressure at the dogs pressure points. My leashes differ from most other slip leashes because they are made with a 1/4" biothane rope coated pvc material making them as durable as leather but much easier to clean and not as harsh on the handlers hands. The other difference is the spring loaded stopper that keeps the leash in exact place it needs to be without slipping out of position.
